My Dream, My Future

If you were to ask a child what he/she wants to become when he/she grows up, and he/she would answer to become a doctor, or a teacher or engineer and even a nurse.

When I was still a child and someone would ask me what will I be when I grow up, I would immediately answer to be a successful nurse someday. And if they ask why I would answer that I want to help others in any simple way I can. I would like my star to be shining brightly. I also dream of working abroad and receiving a high salary. I would like to help my family because life nowadays is so hard. I would like to give them a good and comfortable life.

It was just a simple dream for now. But someday when the right time comes, I would like to see myself finally happy because of my achieved dreams.

"Change: It Starts With Me"

Open your eyes and look around you. After how many days, months and years, observe again. Is there any changes you can see? Can you see improvements to our country?

This past few years until now, many phenomenons are happening not only to our country but to the whole world. We are suffering from climate change. and now we are experiencing intense typhoons, floods , erosion and others. This is because of our daily activities. Are we not aware of what is happening to our nature? Or we see but we don't care. I am not sure but as we can realize and as we can observe, Mother Nature is pleasing us and keeps on telling us that we must change.

I am only a student. But even if I'm only one, I can make a small difference. I can make a simple but meaningful things to contribute for the nature. In these small simple ways, I know that many student leaders will do the same.

It's almost late. Our species are on the edge that our efforts are needed to improve life, save life. We long to do great and noble task. But we may accomplish small task only. But no matter how small the task we can do, let us consider them great. For you and I and each individual can make a difference.

My Kannawidan Experience

In the middle of January and February, we are celebrating the Kannawidan Festival. The said festival was really great. Many stars shined during this festivity.
Many activities were done on this occasion. One of it was the Miss Ambassadress which was participated by one of my friend. Eventhough I'm not there during the contest proper, I have heard that the pageant was great. Some showbiz stars came which made the audience shout at the top of their voices. During the said occasion, there is always the trade fair. We can see there the different products of the different places here in the Philippines. I enjoyed going around the trade fair together with my friends. We saw different products of different towns and places. After that, we also watched the Miss Saniata 2011. The pageant was great. I saw Isabel Oli and Drew. The candidates were really lovely.
That was only a simple experience of mine during the Kannawidan Festival. But eventhough it was just simple, I had a fun time together with my friends.

My January 25

The 25th day of January was a very remarkable day for us CAT officers for we have proven again that we really deserve to be called as CAT Officers of ISNHS.
It was still early in the morning when I went to school for we will march in front of the city hall together. I was so nervous because I'll be the one to command and platoon and for me it was a great honor. When we arrived there, we saw different CAT's at different schools. We were not afraid because we know that we are better than them. Then the parade starts. We have to should as loud as we can and march until the end. We didn't mind the heat of the sun instead we did our best. It was very happy and overwhelming to hear comments from other people that we are very good and much better than the others. After the parade, we were all tired and exhausted so we decided to eat at mcDo without knowing that we have a meeting at the school. When we were on our way to school, someone called us and told that we will be having a meeting but its too late because when we arrived at the school, the meeting was dismissed and we were scolded by Sir Rabaca.
This day will really mark a special part of our lives.

Reflection

Third Grading Challenge

Third Grading is nearly coming to an end. We were about to enter the Last Grading Period. But let me reminisce my third grading life.
This grading was quite hard. We were assigned to do a very challenging task which is to make our own Frontpage regarding Vigan City. Honestly I'm not a good artist nor a good designer nor a computer expert, so I was hard up in making one. But because our teacher fed us enough information regarding this, I was able to make one. As usual, we continued posting on our own blogs.
Moving on, I will be looking for a better grading this next grading period which is actually our last grading this school year and after that we are about to graduate. And I will do my best so that I would get good grades for the remaining last grading.

New Year, Better Me

Time flies so fast. If we are to think, it was just like yesterday that we welcomed 2010 but now we have welcomed 2011. It's just like we entered a new year with just a blink of an eye.
If we go through the meaning of new year many of us think of new life, new beginning, new attitude and everything new. It's the time for us to improve our lives and of course for better.
If I were to reminisce myself wit my 2010 life, I can't help but cry. This was a very challenging year for me. Many challenges came along my way. I didn't concentrate well on my studies . During my 2010 life, I have lost important persons in my life and at the same time I gained. I have realized that I can still find better friends outside the world I used to be and thank God I have found them. Last year also, I have hurt many people. But now that a new year arises again, I would like to improve myself. I would be a better person I can be. I would be learning from the mistakes I've done in the past. But I won't forget it because even though much of it is sadness and sorrows, I'll make them as an inspiration to move on and to be a stronger person. I'll be more serious in my studies and be a more responsible person.
Maybe I'll change a lot this year but i will never change as the person they used to see and be with.

THE TRUE ESSENSE OF CHRISTMAS

Cold breeze of the wind, bright streets with shimmering christmas lights, tall and wonderful christmas trees, lanterns on every house, lots of foods on the table, children caroling- no doubt, its Christmas!
They say that Christmas is for the children. Well, maybe its true. But what really is Christmas? We all know that christmas is the birth of our savior Jesus Christ and we are celebrating it on the 25th day of December every year. Gift-giving, christmas parties, family reunion, caroling are only some scenarios during christmas. In addition, during christmas we all want new things- new shoes, new clothes, new bag and everything new. We all want that christmas would be special that we buy expensive christmas decors and serve a lot of delicious foods on the table.
But can we say that christmas is complete when we do all these things? And is this the real essence oh christmas? Of course it's not. What's the sense of those expensive things when the family is not complete? How can you say that you're happy when you haven't forgive you're enemies? Whats the use of having lots of foods on the table when you don't share it to those in need? All of these are useless when we don't know how to love, forgive and share because loving and sharing is the true essence of christmas. We should love each other, forgive our enemies and share what we have.
Let's always celebrate christmas with great joy and happiness. And we should always remember that everyday is christmas day!
