Breaking Barriers Through English

Our government must improve and give more attention to the importance of quality and standard of education. And the dream of the Department of Education is to give more emphasis of the literacy level of every Filipino family especially the use of English language.
Eight years ago, the Philippines was one among the five bottom of the examination given to the countries using English. What happened?
Lack of comprehension. Poor vocabulary and wrong use of grammar. We must have measures to be taken to improve the English proficiency of our educational system.
The question is, our DepEd continues hiring poor teachers to mold our pupils and students. Bests mentors said that build an atmosphere that attract our learners in every classroom. Let us ask that factor to the personality of a teacher; a teacher to face the 50 students in a classroom. Some classrooms don't have enough books, dictionaries, newspapers, magazines, charts, and pictures use in everyday discussion of the lesson. Pictures mean a thousand words.
Another problem that faces us is our attitudes as learners. We are fond of gossips, and other unusual characteristics. Instead, we must engaged ourselves to a nice conversation using English. We must listen to knowledgeable and good speakers, watch and listen to t.v newscasts using English as medium of language.
The old said that there are Grade 7 graduates who are better in English than our high school graduates now. Let us discover the reason.
Look at our countrymen who are abroad as domestic helpers, they could hardly express themselves in English language with their employers. Some cannot write their messages and notes in English. Poor Filipinos.
Now, we are ready to compete with other countries using English as an international medium of conversation. Let us improve first our English proficiency.

Filipinnovation, The Way Forward

Philippines is rich not only with natural resources but also with bright people. That's why Philippines is not that last and being left by other countries when it comes to beauties, talents and minds. No doubt, Filipinos are talented.
But why is it that Filipinos are being left by other countries when it comes to technology? We cannot be compared to modern inventions to those countries such as China. I think it is on our facilities. We lack that enough sources of facilities especially money. The government cannot supply us enough budget to produce new inventions or modern technologies. We don't also have good classrooms or schools for students who have the brain and potentials. In short the government cannot supply us enough facilities needed by students.
The time is not yet late. We are not yet at the edge. We long to do great and noble task. But we may consider small task only. No matter how small the task we can do, let us consider them great. For you and I and each individual can make a difference.

My Teacher, My Hero

"Teachers open the door, but we must enter it by ourselves."

As everyone say, "teacher is the noblest profession." And I do agree with it because without our teachers there'd be no nurses, doctors, accountant, engineers and others. Teachers starts life.
During the 8 hours in 5 days, our teachers are our second parents in school. and these 8 hours in 5 days, our teachers have already given us informations about things. They feed us enough informations in order to be ready in facing life. Sacrifices is one of the greatest gift they can give us. Even if we students are very naughty, they always understand and go with us. They are our counselors when we have problems. and that's how they love us.
Whatever happens, I will never forget my teachers for they were the one who teaches me how to live my life wisely and properly. Without them, I wouldn't be able to be what I am now. And to all the teachers, I SALUTE YOU!
